May 20th is World Bee Day! Our beloved bee!! All schools sang about these small, useful insects and our songs became a happy bee singing video! We sang the play song "The bee is passing, passing" with our stuffed friend Meli singing and dancing with us!
A collaborative story about bees? Why not? We are amazing writers and illustrators! Each school took on the task of writing and illustrating a page from the story. When it was our turn, we read what had been written before, we thought, we wrote, we illustrated!
"Maya the
bee and her friend Tina thought that the best place to hold the honey festival
was the forest. So, they went to a hive and called out to the workers bees.
“Dear
friends, come help us make the forest a surprise for the children!” The workers
said: “We are coming right away because we love children who protect us!”
The bees
also called out to the torches to light the trees with their lights and
everyone together started preparing the forest for the honey festival."
Safer Internet Day has arrived
All the partners together, we decided to make a poster and a slogan and send it to parents and friends. A slogan that will remind them that the Internet is help and fun but also hides many traps if we do not follow its rules.
Each school took on the task of creating a letter. We took on the "T"...
We love honey! A lot!! We ate breakfast with honey many times and it was time to make a sweet too! On our teacher's birthday, all together, we made delicious honey cookies! Our class stuffed doll, Meli, watched the process and at the end she wanted to eat all our fragrant cookies!!
Learning without play is...a bee without its honey! That's why we decided to play a cooperative bee memory game and meet, even from afar, the friends with whom we collaborate in this..."sweet" e-twinning! It was a lot of fun and many sweet smiles! What a great time we had, our friends!
We discussed everything we learned about the life and dangers that threaten our friends, the bees. We decided that we want to advise our parents and friends to always act to protect this useful insect. Listen to what we told them!
We reread the bee's letter more carefully now! We want to help her, but how? We all express our ideas, which we write down. Most of us think of building them a garden! Why not?
Our little robot, our Beebot, wants to show us its life cycle. How a useful bee is born from a small egg! We want to learn about it too, we code its path correctly and follow the path of bee life!
All the teachers who collaborate on this program have an excellent collaboration! Initially, they met to set the goals of the program and exchange views and ideas about its activities...
...while they met again to evaluate what had been done and plan their next actions! We are lucky kids because the most beautiful stuffed bee doll lives in our classroom! Because we want to have it with us forever, and in our home, we will make it! Here, see how!
It's time to make our logo! We made flowers, bees, put them together and prepared the most fragrant logo!
But our poster was also beautiful, like flowers, and sweet like honey! We received a letter from a tiny bee... We were really surprised! It was asking for our help because it was in danger... We immediately wanted to help it!
We watched a video to learn more about it but we also asked our parents for help! So, we learned a lot about this insect, about its usefulness, about honey, about pollination! Wow! What an amazing insect this is!!
